Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome

When life becomes unpredictable, we offer steady, compassionate support — giving each dog the time and space they need to settle, recover, and find the right future.

Their pace, their needs, our care.

Who Are We?

At La’al Marras Rescue Group, we believe every dog deserves more than just a second chance — they deserve patience, respect, and a life where they are truly understood.

Many of the animals who come to us have experienced neglect, fear, or confusion, and we’re here to show them a different world: one filled with compassion, safety, and belonging.

We don’t rush our dogs through the rescue system. Instead, we give them the time they need to heal, the space to decompress, and the consistency that builds trust. Whether it’s a pup needing gentle rehabilitation or a senior soul seeking a soft landing, we tailor our care to each individual.

Our team is made up of passionate volunteers and foster carers who share one core value — that no dog should be written off because of circumstance, breed, or behaviour. We work collaboratively with local communities, veterinary professionals, behaviourists, and other rescue organisations to make sure every dog has the best possible chance to thrive.

When you support La’al Marras Rescue Group you're not just helping a rescue — you're becoming part of a movement that believes in doing rescue differently.

Rooted in empathy, driven by ethics, and fuelled by love, our mission is to walk alongside each dog until the day they find a family of their own — and even beyond.

Join us in creating a better future, one excited tail wag or happy bum waggle at a time.

Our Codes of Conduct and Ethos

As La’al Marras Rescue Group, we operate with compassion, transparency, and integrity at the heart of everything we do.

Our Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for all team members and volunteers, while our Ethos reflects the values that guide our work: animal welfare first, community support always, and a zero-tolerance approach to neglect or abuse.

Together, they ensure our rescue remains a safe, ethical, and inclusive space for animals and humans alike

Home Visits for Vulnerable Owners

Support with compassion, safety, and dignity

We understand that not everyone finds it easy to complete forms online or communicate remotely, especially when facing a difficult decision like rehoming a beloved pet.

That’s why we offer home visits for vulnerable owners — to provide practical help, assess dogs in their home environment, or simply offer a friendly face-to-face conversation.

For your safety and peace of mind, any team member carrying out a home visit for a vulnerable individual will be Enhanced DBS checked, or directly supervised in person by someone who is, and will always introduce themselves clearly with identification.

We’re here to support, not to judge — and we’ll never pressure you into making a decision that doesn’t feel right for you or your dog.

Policies and Notices

We are committed to operating in full compliance with UK law.

Our Policies and Legal Notices set out the terms of using this site, our responsibilities as a rescue organisation, and your rights as a supporter, adopter, or volunteer.

From data protection to adoption processes, every policy is written with clarity and transparency to build trust and protect everyone we work with.

Community Interest Company (CIC) Status

Since La’al Marras began, our rescue missions have been funded entirely from our own pockets. We are now expanding our fundraising efforts through platforms such as GoFundMe, PayPal, and Ko-fi, alongside our dedicated La’al Marras bank account, to reach and support as many dogs as possible. In addition, we are applying for recognition as a Community Interest Company (CIC), which will allow us to apply for grants and provide greater support — both to our local community and to the wider national dog rescue crisis — during this unprecedented period for UK rescue.
